Saying Lots Of Words

You are saying so many words now. You repeat things randomly. Sometimes you repeat them really well. Sometimes we just know what you're saying because it sounds similar to something that someone just said.

Where's Your Hand !?

Hi Cute Baby!

I've been playing a game with you for as long as I remember. When I'm dressing you with a shirt or a jacket, and you put your arm in the sleeve, I wait until your hand is near the end, then I shake your arm and say "where's your hand ?!?! oh no !! where's your hand !?" Then I pop your hand out and say "there it is". You always find it amusing. I recently heard you saying it to one of your dolls when you were dressing her. It was pretty cute. You also do it now quite often when I'm dressing you ... I don't even have to say it. You say something like "aaa-a hannn .... aaar it is." Here's a picture of you with your hand missing.

Not Afraid of Scary Halloween Decorations

Hiya little baby!

When were visitng at the cottage, we went over to look at the decorations at Judie's. You had fun looking at and poking the decorations. Here's picture of you touching a scary skull while Campbell watches you. When you press the button on his head, he laughs and talks in a scary voice. It sure didn't scare you. You just thought it was amusing.... cute silly baby.

Big Girl Bed

Hi Sweet Baby!

We put your new big-girl captains bed together. You were helping to put it together. Here you are trying to tighten a screw on one of the drawers.

Here you are helping me put the bed frame together.

You were excited and bouncing around while we were putting your bed together. Here you are climbing around the bed frame.

As soon as we put the blankets on your new bed, you were so very excited to climb in. Here you are under the blankets right after we put them on the bed. You're talking to one of Brenna's friends on the phone too.

You weren't so excited about sleeping in it at bedtime, but you did OK.

You're getting to be such a big girl.

Wrinkly Bathtub Fingers

Hiya Baby!

You played in the bathtub for a long while tonite. After you were done, you were touching your wrinkley finger tips and looking at them with a concerned and puzzled look on your face. Your finger tips were wrinkled from being in the tub so long.

Playing in Your Spa Baby Tub

Hi cute baby!

We got a Spa Baby Tub to bath you in when you were a baby. We've been using it to put your toys in since you were big enough to have a bath in the real tub. Tonight you decided to climb in. You kept climbing in, climbing out, climbing back in, then out, then in ... You were pretty funny. Here's a photo of you in it.

Here you are another night playing with Devon. You were putting the tub on your head and walking around. You're such a silly girl.

Laughing Hysterically & Liking Flowers

Laughing Hysterically

While I was laying down with you tonight, you were drinking milk from your cup (your ba-baaa). You accidentally made a squeaking sucking noise and that made you crack up. You were laughing hysterically. You were watching me to react, and when I laughed at you, you laughed hysterically even more. Then you started trying to mimic the sound by making the sound with your lips, then you'd laugh like crazy. You'd say "aggaiin", do it again, and laugh. I took a video. It was dark, but you can hear the silly laughing.

You had a puppy teddy bear in bed with you too. You kept saying "shhhhhh", "puppy seeeepinnn". It was pretty cute.

Flower From Judie

We had supper at the cottage tonight. After supper, you were wanting me to take you down to the stairs and were saying 'aaa buuutcch". You wanted to go over next door and see Butch. I took you over. You were shy when we got over to talk to him. "Doodie" (Judie) came out of the cottage and took you for a walk to her friend's cottage. While there, she gave you a big flower. I was so amazed when I seen you coming back with the flower in your hands. You weren't scared of the flower at all. You played with it all the way home. You used to be so scared of flowers. Even now, you are nervous of them. When I bring you over to flowers in the yard, you smile nervously, then reach out and gently touch the flowers, then say a quiet "aaaaaaaaaggh" and rub your hand a few times on your belly nervously. Its pretty cute.
